Overview

Building the brand, website, and launch system for a $12.5M seed AI company.

We partnered with Datawizz for 18+ months across brand identity, investor materials, marketing assets, launch videos, product pages, and a highly interactive Framer website built for speed, clarity, and scale.

About the project

Datawizz is a San Francisco AI company founded by Iddo Gino, who built RapidAPI before it. Its platform replaces large, general-purpose language models with smaller Specialized Language Models trained for each customer’s own tasks.

It profiles a product’s AI requests, trains expert models on them and routes every request to the model that fits. In September 2025 Datawizz announced a $12.5M seed round led by Human Capital. We worked with the team for more than 18 months, from the brand and the website to investor materials, event and marketing assets and launch visuals.

Timeline
2024 to 2026

The challenge

Datawizz’s product is new to most buyers: smaller models trained on a company’s own requests, in place of the large ones it already uses.

Credible from day one
The identity had to read as serious infrastructure to engineers and to investors.
A new idea to explain
Specialized models, distillation and routing needed a website that explains them in plain steps.
Room to grow
The brand had to stretch from an app icon and stickers to a conference booth, investor materials and launch videos.

We started with the brand and explored six directions before choosing one.

Brand direction: a pixel symbol and violet gradient blocks, shown on a browser tab, a social post and an app icon, with its colour palette
Brand direction: a datawizz wordmark whose wizz is set in pixel type, on a dark starry background
Brand direction: a ring of dots beside the datawizz wordmark, on a dark starry background
Brand direction in orange: a folded mark, Synthesizing the future of data, on a browser tab, an app icon and a social post
Brand direction in blue: a wave symbol on a sign, an app icon and a poster, with its colour palette
Brand direction: the D mark and wordmark over glossy 3D shapes in blue and violet

The mark

Datawizz chose a bold D with a four-point spark cut out of it, set beside a rounded wordmark on deep black with violet light.

The spark carries through everything that followed: icons, stickers, the booth and the website.

The final Datawizz logo: a D with a spark cut out of it beside the datawizz wordmark, on a dark starry background

The brand at work

Then we put the brand to work for events and launches: a conference booth, holographic stickers that say Own your AI, and glowing product icons.

The investor materials and launch videos use the same mark, the same deep black and the same violet light.

The website

The homepage explains the platform step by step, starting with Integrate: Datawizz goes into an existing app with no code changes. A comparison then sets specialized models against the large ones teams already use.

We designed it dark, with soft violet and red light behind each section, and built it in Framer. It scores 99/100 on Google PageSpeed Insights.

"We had a board meeting today and got VERY positive feedback on the new site, so great job to the entire team on a great design!"

How it works: Building your own Specialized Language Model is as simple as that, with the Integrate step and three glowing tiles
Comparison section: Which solution suites your business better?, with a 10-100x cheaper bar chart
The same comparison as two cards, Large Language Models and Specialized Language Models, above the 10-100x chart
Deploy your SLMs to any cloud, with Replicate, Google Cloud, Azure and AWS tiles
Know the difference: an LLM diagram with a tab switch between LLMs and SLMs
Distill knowledge from larger models to smaller, specialized models, with a capsule diagram
Better cost, performance, accuracy in large gradient type above two feature cards
A carousel of base models with their parameters, descriptions and best uses

One idea per section

Each feature got its own section and its own visual, so a technical page never turns into a wall of text.

Pixel art for the energy smaller models save, a log table for inference data, a world map for the global network, a price table per base model and benchmark chips for evaluation.

Eco friendly section: As models grow in size, so does the energy they require to run, with a pixel tree and clouds
Log management section with a table of AI requests, models, durations and tokens
Globally distributed: a dotted world map with lit points over a violet and red glow
Pricing section: How cheap it really is, a table of base models with input and output token prices
Automated evaluation: a bar chart comparing a trained model with its base model
Sophisticated benchmark functions: metric chips with LLM as Judge and JSON Evaluation cards
Website footer: contact Iddo, page links and a large Datawizz logo

Product pages

Product pages go deeper into single features: knowledge distillation, smart routing between models, guardrails against abuse and prompt injection, and pricing for the platform.

Each one follows the homepage: a dark section, one short heading and one diagram that shows the feature.

Knowledge distillation: a specialized model drawing the knowledge you care about from a large model
Card: Synthesizing the future of data, with the Datawizz logo over violet gradient blocks
Pricing: Get most of the Datawizz platform, with Basic and Pro plans
Smart routing: Route your AI requests to the right model every time, with a request tree
LLM guardrails: Secure against abuse with smart policies, with a shield icon
