SEO and AEO
Get found. Get named by AI.
We fix technical SEO and shape your pages so Google ranks them and ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity quote them. Then we measure the change.
Built by the team behind sites for
How it works
Search and AI tools reward pages they can Crawl cleanly, Quote word for word and Trust. We fix all three, then measure.
Can we show up when people ask AI assistants for a tool like ours?
- Crawling the site like a search bot
- Fixing pages bots can’t read
- Rewriting answers so they can be quoted
- Adding schema, authors and sources
- Checking which assistants name you

Our SEO and AEO process
From audit to answers that name you.
We find what blocks search engines and AI tools, fix it on the site, rewrite the pages buyers ask about, then measure.
Week 1
Audit
A crawl, Search Console, structured data, robots.txt and AI crawler access, and how clearly each page answers.
Typical outputs:
- 01Technical SEO audit
- 02AI crawler check
- 03Structured data review
- 04Prioritised fix list
Week 1-2
Buyer questions
We list the questions buyers ask Google and ChatGPT before they buy, map each to a page and record who gets named.
Typical outputs:
- 01Buyer question list
- 02Question-to-page map
- 03AI visibility baseline
- 04Content gaps
Week 2-3
Technical fixes
We fix it on the site: titles, canonicals, sitemaps, redirects, links, speed, JSON-LD and an llms.txt from your content.
Typical outputs:
- 01Metadata and canonicals
- 02Redirect map
- 03Structured data
- 04llms.txt
Week 3-4
Answer-first pages

Typical outputs:
- 01Rewritten page intros
- 02Question headings
- 03FAQs with schema
- 04Author and date markup

- 04Next fixes
What we check and fix
Pages search engines can read and AI can quote.
Six areas cover most of what decides whether you’re found, and whether you’re named.
Technical SEO
Crawling, indexing, canonicals, sitemaps, redirects and internal links, fixed on the live site.
Structured data
JSON-LD for your organisation, services, articles, FAQs and breadcrumbs, matching the page.
Answer-first pages
Headings phrased as buyer questions, the answer up front, and real prices, dates and names.
AI crawler access and llms.txt
A robots.txt that lets search and AI crawlers in, content in plain HTML, and an llms.txt.
Mentions beyond your site
AI answers lean on reviews, directories, Reddit and LinkedIn. We map what they say about you.
Speed and Core Web Vitals
Lighter pages and images that load fast on a phone, which both rankings and readers notice.

- Changing platform
- Measured with
AI visibility check
Ten buyer questions. Is DesignMe named?
We run the same check for clients. Here is ours, including the part that didn’t go our way.
Questions
Ten questions buyers ask before they hire or buy, written down once.
Where
The same questions in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google.
What we record
Named or not, which pages are cited, and who shows up instead.
How often
Every month, because the answers keep moving.

ChatGPT answers that named DesignMe
Ten buyer questions asked in each assistant. All three ChatGPT mentions cited our Clutch profile, not our own pages.
| Where | Result | What we learned |
|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | NamedNamed in 3 of 10 answers | All three cited our Clutch profile. No designme.agency page was a source. |
| Claude | BaselineNamed in 1 of 10 | One mention is a baseline, not a trend. |
| Perplexity | BaselineNamed in 1 of 10 | Described us as a partner for funded B2B SaaS, AI and fintech startups. |
| Ranked, not citedFirst organic result for “framer vs wordpress for startups” | Ranking first didn’t get us cited: ChatGPT quoted Framer’s and WordPress’s own pages. |
What we deliver
Everything found, fixed and measured.
The outputs of an SEO and AEO project: on your live site, in your analytics, and in a monthly check of AI answers.
Technical SEO audit
A crawl, a Search Console review and an AI crawler check, ending in a ranked fix list.
Buyer question map
The questions buyers ask Google and ChatGPT, each mapped to the page that should answer it.
Fixes on the live site
Titles, canonicals, sitemaps, redirects, links and speed, fixed by people who build sites.
Structured data and llms.txt
JSON-LD that says the same as each page, and an llms.txt generated from your content.
Answer-first pages
Rewritten intros, question headings and FAQs on the pages your buyers ask about.
Monthly visibility report
Rankings, clicks, AI referrals and the same buyer questions asked again each month.
Why DesignMe
We fix it on the site, not in a report.
Designers and developers in one team, so the audit turns into changes you can see in search, and in the answers.
- Tested on our own site
- Our llms.txt, structured data and Ask AI shortcuts are live on designme.agency, and we publish what didn’t work as well as what did.
- We implement the fixes
- In Framer, Webflow, Astro or Next.js, by the people who build sites every day. No hand-off to another agency.
- Migrations without lost URLs
- Every URL inventoried, kept or redirected, with titles and structured data carried across. We did it to our own site first.
- Honest about AI answers
- Nobody controls what ChatGPT says. We improve what it reads, measure what changes, and tell you when it doesn’t.
- Traffic that converts
- More visitors only help if the pages convert. When they don’t, our CRO work picks up where SEO stops.

Your questions about SEO and AEO
Still having more questions?
Send us your site and the three questions your buyers ask most. We’ll show you who gets named today, and what we’d fix first.
What’s the difference between SEO, AEO and GEO?
SEO gets your pages ranked in search results. AEO, answer engine optimisation, gets your pages quoted in AI answers from ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google’s AI Overviews. GEO is another name for much the same work. They share most of the foundations, so we plan them together.
Do you fix things or only deliver an audit?
We fix them. The audit ends in a prioritised list, and we implement the agreed fixes on your site, check them after they go live, and hand over a record of what’s done and what’s still open.
Will an llms.txt file make ChatGPT cite us?
Not on its own, and nobody can promise that. It gives AI tools a clean map of your site. Citations depend on pages that rank, answer clearly and are mentioned elsewhere. Ours is generated from the same data as our pages, so it never drifts.
How do you measure AI visibility?
Two ways. We ask the same buyer questions in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google each month and record who gets named and which pages are cited. And we track visits from AI assistants in your analytics. Both are signals, not a full picture.
Should we let AI crawlers onto our site?
For search crawlers such as OAI-SearchBot and PerplexityBot, usually yes: blocking them takes you out of those answers. Crawlers that collect training data, such as GPTBot, are a separate choice we make with you.
Does our platform matter?
Framer, Webflow, Astro and Next.js can all do this well. Code-based sites give the most control over structured data and llms.txt; on Framer and Webflow some of it needs custom code. We tell you what your platform can and can’t do.
Can you keep our rankings through a redesign or migration?
That’s the job. We inventory every URL, keep it or redirect it with a real 301, and carry titles, descriptions and structured data across. Our migration guides show the method platform by platform.
Do you write content?
We write and restructure the pages in scope: service, pricing, comparison and FAQ pages, where answer-first copy matters most. Ongoing article production is a separate scope we can plan with you.
Can you work on a site another team built?
Yes, after a short review of the platform and access. If the site needs rebuilding to fix the basics, we agree that scope first.
How long until we see results?
Technical fixes are usually picked up within weeks. Rankings and AI mentions take longer and move month to month. We set a baseline in week one so you can see the change, whichever way it goes.
Do you guarantee rankings or AI citations?
No. We improve the foundations and check every change we make. Rankings, traffic and AI answers depend on competition and sources outside your site, so nobody honest can promise them.
