Motion design

Motion design that explains your product

Launch videos, product explainers, website animations and UI motion for startups and enterprise teams with a product that is hard to explain.

Launched motion for tech teams like

Selected work

Motion that makes products easier to explain.

From launch videos to walkthroughs and site animations, we turn static screens into stories people get faster.

Our motion process

From rough idea to launch-ready motion.

Most motion projects take 2–4 weeks, depending on length, style, feedback speed and whether we animate existing assets.

Week 1

Story direction

We review the product, audience, goal, references, brand, screens, and the message the animation needs to communicate.

How we ship motion

The right format for every place it plays.

A great animation can still slow a page or make someone unwell. We pick the format per placement and build it to load light.

  • Lottie for UI moments

Icons, illustrations and product moments from After Effects, as small vector files that stay sharp.

  • Rive when it reacts

State machines that respond to hover, clicks and live app data, from one file on web and mobile.

  • Video for film and 3D

Launch films, footage and 3D renders as MP4 or WebM, with a poster, loaded only in view.

  • CSS for simple loops

A hover or a small loop rarely needs a file at all. A CSS transition is lighter and easier to change.

  • Reduced motion respected

A still frame for people who turn motion off, and a pause control on anything that loops for long.

  • Light on page speed

Files checked on a mid-range phone, not just a fast laptop, so the motion never costs you the page.

What we deliver

Motion for every place your product shows up.

Story, design, animation and sound from one team, exported for your website, social, sales and product.

  • Launch videos

A finished video for a product, feature or rebrand launch, from script and storyboard to final export.

  • Product explainers

Walkthroughs that show flows, features and outcomes faster than screenshots can.

  • Website animations

Hero loops, feature animations and product moments in Lottie, WebM or MP4, built light.

  • UI and product motion

Transitions, states and feedback that make actions inside the product feel obvious.

  • 3D product visuals

3D scenes in Blender, Spline or Cinema 4D, used when depth makes the product clearer.

  • Sound design

Sound effects, music and pacing that make a video feel finished and launch-ready.

Typical engagements

Motion design shaped around the job.

Some teams need a full launch video. Others need product explainers, onboarding walkthroughs, website animations or launch assets.

Why DesignMe

We make product motion feel clear, not overproduced.

The goal is to help people understand the product faster, feel the launch energy, and remember the story.

Built for tech products
We work with SaaS, AI, fintech, marketplaces, and technical products where the hard part is explaining what the product does.
Story before animation
We start with the message, flow, and storyboard so the motion has a point before the animation begins.
Design and motion connected
We can create the static visuals, product screens, illustrations, and motion direction together, so the final result feels consistent.
2D and 3D when it fits
We can handle clean UI animation, 2D scenes, 3D product visuals, abstract motion, and launch-style hero videos.
Ready for real channels
We prepare motion assets for websites, social, sales decks, paid campaigns, launch pages, onboarding, and product education.

Your questions about motion design

Adrian

Still having more questions?

Tell us what you’re launching. We’ll help you map the right scope, team, timeline, and next steps.

What types of motion design do you create?

DesignMe creates launch videos, product explainers, onboarding walkthroughs, website animations, UI motion, social cuts, demo visuals and 2D or 3D motion for software and tech products.

How long does a motion design project take?

Most motion design projects take 2 to 4 weeks. A small set of website animations can be faster; a full 2D or 3D launch video with script, storyboard, animation, sound and QA can take longer.

Can you create a launch video from scratch?

Yes. DesignMe handles the research, script direction, storyboard, static frames, 2D or 3D animation, VFX, sound effects, music and final exports for a launch video.

Can you animate our existing product screens?

Yes. We work from your Figma files, screenshots, prototypes or brand assets. If the screens aren’t ready, we clean up or redesign the key moments before animating them.

Do you do 2D and 3D animation?

Yes. DesignMe produces 2D product animation, UI motion, abstract brand motion, 3D product scenes and mixed 2D and 3D launch assets, using After Effects, Rive, Blender, Spline and Cinema 4D.

Can you make animations for our website?

Yes. We create hero animations, feature loops, UI walkthroughs and hover moments as Lottie, WebM or MP4 files, ready for Framer, Webflow or a coded site.

Why use motion to explain a complex product?

Motion shows cause and effect: what a user does and what the product does back. That makes dashboards, AI features and technical workflows easier to understand in seconds than in paragraphs of copy.
