How much does DesignMe cost?
Monthly plans: Design + Development + Growth $11,900, Design + Development $8,900, Design only $5,900, Development only $5,900 a month. Hourly packages run 100 hours for $9,000, 50 hours for $5,000, 25 hours for $3,000. Quarterly billing takes 10% off. Fixed projects: a website from $15k (a landing page from $10k), brand identity $10k–$20k, product design from $10k (a full product from $25k), and early-stage packages from $16k. A UX audit is $2,500.
Do you have a discount for seed-stage startups?
Yes. If you're a seed-stage team backed by YC, a16z or another institutional investor, you get 10% off any monthly plan, hourly package or early-stage package, for design, development and growth. It stacks with quarterly billing, so the two together take 19% off. Tick "Seed-stage team?" in the plan builder, or mention it on the call.
Why do you show ranges instead of fixed prices?
Scope drives the price: the number of pages, CMS needs, design complexity, integrations, motion and launch support. The ranges show where projects usually start. After a short call we send a fixed scope and price before any work starts.
What does agent-ready mean?
The site or design system is built so your team, or an AI agent, can make changes without breaking the design. Astro sites come with team and agent docs, and AI workflows let your team ask for drafts in Slack or Claude. Nothing goes live until a person approves it.
How do payments work for fixed packages?
Brand + Landing Page is $16k in 1 payment, Brand + Website + Launch Video is $25k in 2 payments, Brand + Website + MVP is $40k in 3 payments. The UX audit is $2,500, credited to any package if you continue.
Can I pause or cancel a monthly plan?
Yes. If your roadmap slows down, pause for a month and resume when you’re ready. A lot of clients increase capacity around launches, fundraising or major product releases and reduce it afterwards. Pausing is separate from cancelling: if you want to stop, you can cancel anytime, with no notice.
Can we start small?
Yes, with the UX audit. We audit your brand, site or product, and redesign one piece as proof. 3 to 5 days, credited to any package if you decide to continue. It costs $2,500.
What happens if my project scope changes mid-way?
Priorities can shift, especially in fast-moving industries. For fixed projects, we can issue a revised scope of work (SOW) to account for any new additions or changes. For retainer clients, these adjustments can often be rolled into your ongoing engagement.
How many people work on my project?
Depends on your needs. A standard subscription gives you access to 1-2 senior designers + PM. Bigger projects = more firepower.
Who owns the work?
You do. All final Figma files, brand assets, development work and documentation created for you are yours. There’s no proprietary system keeping you locked in.
Can we sign an NDA or confidentiality agreement?
Of course. We work with funded startups and enterprise clients regularly, so NDAs are standard. Just share your agreement or we can send you ours before kickoff.
